Scuba diving in Moorea

Description of the activity

You will dive in one of the most beautiful bays in the world; the boat trip alone is worth it.

There are numerous diving spots such as Eden Park, Rotui, Coral Walk, Shark Valley and Opunohu Canyon on Moorea. Most of them are located between Cook’s Bay and Opunohu Bay, which have incredible views.

Seeing large Hawksbill sea turtles and green turtles is not uncommon, even in groups. Lemon sharks, black tip sharks, the classic moray eels and countless tropical fish can also be seen.

Useful information

The water temperature is perfect for 3-mm neoprene and visibility is usually crystal-clear as well.

About the scuba diving company

We used several diving centers but our favorite was Moorea Blue Diving, located in the Manava Hotel in the Maharepa area (northern Moorea) close to the bays where the dives usually take place.

Their facilities and material were in perfect condition and the transport always on time. The diving team was very nice.
