The paradisiacal beaches of Fakarava

Fakarava is blessed with beaches the stuff of dreams, where palm trees overlook turquoise waters in deserted surroundings. It’s straight out of a movie!

There are several beaches scattered around the long coastline where you can spend the day enjoying your time in paradise. They can be accessed by car, motorcycle or bicycle from the road that runs along the main island. The beaches can also be reached from the interior of the lagoon if you are lucky enough to have a boat or can arrange to use one.

Don’t forget that Fakarava is a Unesco World Biosphere Reserve due to its enormous diversity of marine life, so take your mask and snorkel to swim, dive and have fun both on the surface and under the water.

There are literally hundreds of beaches where you can spend the day. Your lodging probably has its own. Whether you visit them all or not is up to you because wherever you are, you’re going to love it.
