Description of the activity

As you know, Bora Bora is one of the most famous places in the world due to the beauty of its lagoon. Snorkeling or scuba diving enables you to explore its natural beauty below the surface.

We did the Tapui Nui dive at 2:30 p.m. It was a very calm, comfortable dive because the water temperature was 84.2 ºF. We were in the water for 45 minutes and reached a depth of 39 feet.

• Best season to dive in Bora Bora: all year round
• Maximum and minimum temperature throughout the year: 77 – 82.4 ºF
• Maximum and minimum depth: The depth reached depends on the diver’s certified level. Most of the interesting things are found at a depth of between 50 and 65 feet. The maximum depth on Bora-Bora is 130 feet.
• Visibility: very good at all points except in the manta ray area where it sometimes gets a bit difficult.
• Animals that can be observed in Bora Bora: it is famous for manta rays, eagle rays, lemon sharks, all tropical fish and even whales.
• Currents: not usually. These are relaxed dives.
• Levels: suitable for all.
• Type of diving available: recreational, nocturnal, nitrox, deep and custom immersions by prior request and procurement.

We saw lemon sharks, blacktip sharks and Napoleon wrasse (they’re gigantic). We also swam through a cave, reached a huge coral reef and enjoyed a restful dive over the coral garden. Very nice and highly recommended.

Useful information

There are twelve dive sites: Pointe Feufeu, Anau, Tapu Nui, Tapu Canyon, Toopua, Grand Canyon, the Aquarium, Haapiti, Apoo, Muri Muri, Tupitipiti and Tupai.

About the scuba diving company

We were lucky enough to dive with a fantastic team of professionals including Teiki, our group instructor.

The diving equipment was in perfect condition.

We entrusted our dive to Topdive Tahiti, located in the Intercontinental Hotel very close to the airport. So it was very convenient. We recommend it.
